The Current Landscape
In India, significant resources are being allocated towards the cause of women empowerment. Numerous initiatives are underway to improve the lives of women across the country. However, the most critical aspect of women empowerment in India is the societal attitude towards women. Despite progress, women are still often seen as burdens and liabilities.
The Challenge
True women empowerment in India cannot be achieved unless violence against women is completely eradicated. This violence takes many forms, from physical and emotional abuse to systemic discrimination and economic deprivation. Addressing these issues is fundamental to creating an environment where women can thrive.
